교정(較正)
calibration
1. 측정하고자 하는 물리량과 측정 시스템에서 관찰된 출력을, 표준신호를 사용하여 전반적인 불확실성 내의 수치관계를 결정하는 과정.
2. 비교되어질 장치의 정확도 편차를 검출하거나 관련짓거나 또는 조절하여 제거하기 위해, 정확도를 모르는 측정/시험장비(M&TE) 또는 측정표준을 정확도가 알려져 있는 측정표준과 비교하는 것.
