 The absorber material is generally composed of carbon-impregnated form. Other material includes ferrite tiles or combinations of ferrite tiles and carbon-impregnated foam. Both materials dissipate the undesirable energy impinge on its surface in the form of heat.  ANSI C63.14-1992
