AM 방송대역(放送帶域)
AM radio broadcast band
진폭변조 방송을 일반 대중에게 서비스하기 위해 할당된 주파수 대역. 주 : 우리나라와 미국, 캐나다에서는 이 주파수 대역으로 535-1605 kHz가 할당되어 있다. 이 주파수 대역은 전세계적으로 방송을 위해 ITU가 할당한 주파수 중의 하나이다.
A band of frequencies assigned for amplitude-modulated broadcasting to the general public. Note: In the United States and Canada, the frequency band is 535-1605 kHz. This is one of the ITU frequency allocations, on a worldwide basis, for broadcasting. IEEE Std 539-1990 (9.7.3)
